Members of the Global Community have stepped forward to iterate and improve upon the original BUDMEN® design. Here are links to some of the innovative solutions they have developed.
We rely entirely on the end users to assess the effectiveness of the 3D face shields and whether they are suitable to the particular use and conditions of use involved. We do not warrant these designs for any particular purpose.
Laser/CNC Face Shield
Something Labs is a volunteer group of health workers, engineers, designers, machinists, and logisticians who are fighting COVID-19. This incredible team took the Budmen® face shield design V3 and optimized it for laser cutting and CNC machining. These outstanding individuals came up with a new iteration of the design of the Budmen® face shield that reduces the material by 48% which will enable manufacturers to double production quantity.
